When the curtain rises, we see in the middle of the stage a large hexagonal glass lantern, hanging from the coat hangers and descending about 0.80 m from the ground.
The stage is dimly lit. An assistant brings a burning torch to the magician who waves it inside the lantern, then the assistant takes the torch backstage.
The magician closes the flap of the lantern and makes a rotating movement. At that moment, a faint light shines inside and a woman gradually appears in the lantern.
